Burgtec was appointed directly by Pillow Talk to design and manufacture the entire workstation and loose furniture package. The scope included open-plan workstations, private booths, executive offices, meeting and breakout rooms, and shared collaboration spaces. As a design-led client, Pillow Talk chose to manage the furniture design and specification process in-house, working closely with Burgtec to select materials, colours and finishes that aligned with the brand’s distinctive aesthetic. The result was a tailored solution featuring Burgtec’s Strata 360 height-adjustable workstations, customised collaboration desks and carefully curated soft seating to support the workplace’s diverse needs.

From the outset, Pillow Talk approached its new headquarters as an expression of its brand culture. Every detail mattered, from the look and feel of the furniture to its ergonomic performance and environmental credentials. Burgtec worked hand-in-hand with the client’s internal team and Cottee Parker to prototype and refine each product, ensuring visual harmony with the interior decor. Burgtec’s local manufacturing capability provided the flexibility to adapt finishes and configurations as the design evolved, while close coordination with Hutchinson Builders ensured every stage of production and installation met the project’s high standards for quality and timing.

Burgtec’s role extended beyond functionality to help realise Pillow Talk’s design vision. By combining craftsmanship, ergonomics and locally manufactured quality, the team delivered furniture that feels as considered as it looks. Every element reflects the brand’s emphasis on comfort, warmth and attention to detail, creating a workplace that embodies Pillow Talk’s design philosophy while showcasing the enduring value of Burgtec’s Australian-made furniture.

Beyond practical and ergonomic criteria, this project demonstrates how Burgtec’s furniture also reflects its clients’ brands.
